The house which is over 130 years old was renovated by the owner, Mr Kaneda. He is a carpenter. There is a wood stove that makes you warm in winter, and in summer, the natural wind cools you down. Just right out of the house, there is a tree of taro holly a.k.a TEGAMI NO KI (tree of the letter). You can still write a letter on the leaf and put stamp, then send it. It is amazingly dark so that watching stars is one of attraction while you are staying.
