Tanbachaya Yurari -Yura River Branch-

更新日:2020年2月20日

Home > Eat > Japanese

This restaurant is in an old country-style house on the banks of the Yura River that flows through Ayabe. An old country-style residence from the late Edo Period (1603-1868) was relocated here and reconstructed. Savor the quintessential folk-craft atmosphere of the Tanba region. At this unbeatable spot where you can dine while gazing out over the peaceful waters of the Yura River, the chef’s original Japanese menu ranges from traditional Japanese boxed lunches made with local Tanba and Wakasa ingredients to kaiseki (haute cuisine) and beef or chicken grilled on a shichirin (small charcoal grill).

There is a counter where you can gaze out over the Yura River while dining.
Dine around an irori (sunken hearth)
This is a sister restaurant of "Fushimiya", a Japanese-style restaurant with an attached inn founded in 1902.
