Fascinated by the lifestyle of satoyama (regions that blend pastoral and natural landscape), the proprietors began stylishly refurbishing a traditional Japanese house. The interior features a wood-burning stove and has a tranquil, natural atmosphere. Tasty, healthy meals are prepared with strictly selected ingredients, and prominently feature seasonal vegetables. Guests can experience the joys of country life by trying their hands at a wide range of hands-on activities such as field work, wood splitting, rice planting, rice harvesting, and wild grass picking.
