Outside Gencho
I heard that there is a Japanese style restaurant
where I can enjoy delicious 'hotpot with wild boar' in Ayabe city
so I visited Gencho this time.
The restaurant is located along Yura river
so you could enjoy river view from room.
Its garden is well maintained and the room is large
so I could relax and enjoy the dinner.
Stuff at the restaurant is so polite and kind.
They take measures against COVID-19 so I felt secured.
A room with scenery
When I saw wild boar meat at first, I thought 'it is much different from the meat I see at the supermarket.'
It was delicious more than I expected.
People might think wild boar meat is tough but it was not,
it was tender and melted in my mouth.

The portions were big but I enjoyed every single of the meal
because it was very delicious.
The miso taste soup stock had a strong flavor and,
fat and gravy were melted into the soup as time went on
so it became more rich taste.

The owner told us interesting story at the end.
I really enjoyed our visit and dinner.
I would like to visit again if I have an opportunity.
