Name of facility : Seafood Izakaya restaurant "Fujita" Visit date : 2020/10/8 Visitor name : Sazonov Maxim

You will be able to enjoy fresh seafood and local sake at the restaurant. Not only seasonal seafood but also rare seafoods are available.

Seafood Izakaya restaurant 'Fujita' is located in Oka-cho, Ayabe city.

A little distance from busy street but I surprised some points when I stepped in the restaurant.

Firstly, there were lots of different things on the menu so I believe you will be able to find your favorite dish.

Also, I was surprised that there are many seafood menus at the restaurant in Ayabe city because it is bit far from the sea.

There are counter seats and tatami mat seats, so it suits for large group as well. The owner with a wonderful smile will tell you the recommended seasonal seafood.

In the menu, there were many things which I cannot find at the restaurant usually such as rare fish, crocodile’s shank, bread and ramen.

I enjoyed reading the menu as well.

All ingredients were fresh and dishes were very delicious.

I was impressed that the owner chooses all the ingredients they use and sometimes he goes to Maizuru to get the ingredients.

There are a wide variety of other menus such as ramen, bread and rare menu, crocodile’s shank available on the menu. You may want to come back again to try other dishes which you could not try at one time.

There are tatami mat seats and small counter seats.

At the counter seats, I enjoyed talking with the owner while eating.

I think it is a Japanese style and I liked it.

The owner with wonderful smile cooks very well and told me a funny story.

The owner chooses all the seafoods they use. They pick fishes from a fish-tank when they cook so they can serve fresh seafoods.

It was a great opportunity to spent nice time.

I really recommend this restaurant for those who are interested in local foods and fresh seafoods.
