Nestled amid the natural splendor of Ayabe Kanbayashi, Ayabe Onsen Nio-no-Yu is a natural hot spring with one of the best water compositions in the prefecture, rich in hot spring minerals and marvelously effective. Nio-no-Yu features a large indoor hot spring, a medicinal bath with numerous herbal ingredients, an open-air bath, and a sauna. Guests can enjoy the genuine taste of Japanese country cuisine at the restaurant in the Nio-kan accommodation facility. The adjacent Nio Park is a family-friendly overnight-style leisure spot, with a putter golf course, a ground golf course, and a tennis court.


Spacious lobby in the atrium style. There are also a restaurant and a gift shop.
Relax in a spacious eight tatami-mat (approx. 15 m2) Japanese-style room.
Gaze at beautiful wooded and pastoral scenery from the open-air bath.

From JR Kyoto Station, take express train "Kinosaki" or "Hashidate" on "Saninhonsen" Line and get off at Ayabe Station (65 minutes). From JR Ayabe Station, Aya Bus Kanbayashi or Omi Ichinose Line, get off at Ayabe Onsen-mae (40 minutes), then a short distance from the bus stop.

Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. You can pay when you check out. Cancellation fee is 30% from 3 days before, 50 % from 1 day before, and 100 % on that date or No-show.

 

[Note]

Overnight guests can bathe in the Nionoyu hot springs for free.

A Western-style room on the first floor is a barrier-free room which wheel chair users can use.
